Coinbase transactions not syncing

Finally got this answer from support… not too promising…


I am sorry to hear that you are running into this issue.

You may want to try removing and reading the Coinbase exchange, and this may resolve the issue.

Beginning early in June, some users have reported that Coinbase shows a message that says “Never Updated”. Some have also reported that when they remove the exchange and then try to read it, that authentication fails again. Users have also reported an error that says “Your Coinbase account failed to import”, or the integration may stall indefinitely with a message that says “Data import in progress”.

All of these errors may come from the same root cause or problem. We do not have a date for when this will be resolved, but it is currently one of our engineering team’s top priorities and they are actively working on it.

Same issue, really disappointing. They responded to me but really haven’t provided any answers. I like the product but constant bugs and weak communication from CT are a case study in poor customer service.

Same issue, has been broken for 3 days for me. This company really never responds or fixes stuff. I think everyone here should just ask for their money back. If they started to get some pressure on the revenue side, maybe they would hire some people and get after it. I put in several support tickets this last year and the fastest they answered me was 2 months. Completely missed tax season.

I just contacted support, requesting a refund of my $200 “premium tax plan” subscription. And I signed up for instead. I suggest everyone does the same.

This is unacceptable and not new. It’s like this company doesn’t hire engineers or support team members.

Your status on your status page is misleading. Your service is not working, no matter if it is the fault of a 3rd party or not, your paying customers have a service outage. This has been well over a week. I mean how long does it take to troubleshoot and fix? I would be fired from my tech job if we took more than a few hours to fix an issue that was causing a service outage.

The Coinbase integration has been broken for going on two weeks now. Coinbase still lists Cointracker as the recommended tool for tracking transactions and taxes yet the product doesn’t work and the support has been terrible. Maybe we should start reaching out to Coinbase for answers.

Not sure why they would want their name associated with cointracker at this point. I mean you can’t fix this issue in over 2 weeks, that is just pathetic. It is literally the thing that got you the most customers and you can fix it. Really sad. Anyway, I moved on to another platform, wished I had not spent countless hours fixing transaction bugs and 500 dollars in fees here. Complete waste of time and money.

Update: Coinbase is aware of an ongoing issue on their end, with their API that is causing our syncs to fail, they are working to fix it as soon as possible. Once this has been resolved, no further action should be required on your behalf, and your exchange/wallets will be back to normal.
