You can mark transactions with special tags from the transaction page. Simply navigate to the relevant transaction and use the dropdown arrow on the right side of the page to select the appropriate marker.
Thats all well and good but i have a transaction that i did not initiate that is without a doubt an air drop token that is registering as a sent transaction which cannot be because i don’t even know what this coin is, i looked it up and its some advertising company’s ploy to create advertising by dropping those coins into peoples accounts, if that is true how can that be a sent Trxn because is certainly did not send it anywhere cause i didn’t even know that is was there till i started this process. so how do i deal with this airdropped token that appears as a sent transaction that does not give me the option to label it as an airdrop. ?
is it possible to mark transactions while importing them?
When importing, i only see a few of hte listet options (Gift, Lost, Donation, Fork, airdrop, mined, payment and stake)
I received some free coins from Coinbase for opening an account. I am guessing that is similar to a gift. What is the appropriate way to mark those transactions, just adjust the cost basis to zero?
Thanks!
I would like to add to Stiffler’s request, and say that I would like to be able to tag transactions as interwallet transfers from the csv file rather than within the UI. I prefer to do as much as possible from the CSV file before importing, and mostly just let cointracker put it all together and handle the cost basis and gains calculations. That way, I have my own records outside of cointracker. Accointing looks like it has around 20 tags that can be added at import time, would like to see this in Cointracker if possible.
How do I edit my manual entries so that I can integrate the transaction hash info?
I noticed that when I did a CSV import, I included a column for it and one of the transactions has a link so you can pull up the transaction on the ledger.
I see no way to be able to add this when you make a manual entry.
